Intro to Pottery for Adults and Teens May 13 & 27

This 2025 season, we are hosting a free introductory pottery workshop series for adults and teens with artist Liz Allen.  This May workshop series is designed for teens and adults. Participants will learn different pottery techniques such as hand building and wheel throwing. 

All materials needed for this workshop will be provided for participants. Each person will have the opportunity to create and take home one to two pieces of their own glazed and fired pottery. 

Participants are encouraged to attend both sessions in the workshop series.

Workshop Dates:

May 13 & 27  6:00-8:00pm

Sessions are held at The Orchard (250 Waters Rd. Patten, ME)

This workshop is free to attend. 

There will be a place for donations for those who wish to support our work and mission.

Please note that during our Creative Arts Workshop series, photos may be taken to capture the energy and creativity of the event. These photos may be used to showcase the workshops and highlight the learning opportunities happening in our northern Katahdin community, through our partnership with the Katahdin Children and Families Foundation and local artisans.
