At The Orchard, we offer free workshops as well as workshops on a sliding scale. We believe creating and connecting through art should be accessible to everyone. Every bit helps us keep creativity flowing for all.
IF YOU USE OUR SLIDING SCALE PRICING…
New for 2026, we have standard Sliding Scale codes for our paid events.
SLIDE50 = I can pay a reduced amount that works for my current budget (50% below full price).
SLIDE25 = I can contribute to most of the full cost (25% below full price).
If full price fits your budget, you do not need to use a code.
Please enter your sliding scale code AT CHECKOUT. You’ll see a box that says “Gift or Discount Code” where you can enter the code right before you pay.

Watercolor Painting
Art Workshop for Adults at The Orchard with Charlene Lutz: Seasonally Themed Watercolor Painting at The Orchard 6-8pm
At The Orchard, we offer our workshops on a sliding scale because we believe creating and connecting through art should be accessible to everyone. For our watercolor workshop, the suggested price is $30—but if that’s a stretch, you're welcome to pay what you can. If you're able to give more, your contribution helps support others in our community. For example, someone might pay $15, while another might offer $40 to help cover the difference. Every bit helps us keep creativity flowing for all.
