2026 Adult Pottery: Hand-Building & Wheel-Throwing

$50.00

Led by artist Liz Allen from Local Mud

We’re excited to welcome you to our 2026 pottery season with Liz Allen from Local Mud. This season’s workshops are designed with greater flexibility and accessibility for adults and families in the northern Katahdin Region.

This year, we’re doing things differently. In years past, participants registered for a series of workshops.

In 2026, you can now choose the dates that work best for your schedule and register for individual Hand-Building or Wheel-Throwing workshops throughout the summer. Whether you’re trying pottery for the first time or returning to the studio, this new format makes it easier to join us when it fits your life.

Select any date available to register for either Hand-Building or Wheel-Throwing. There’s no need to let us know which activity you are engaged in before you arrive.

Each workshop is intentionally limited to just 6 participants to create a relaxed, supportive environment with plenty of hands-on guidance from Liz.

Our adult workshops are offered on a sliding scale, helping ensure that cost is not a barrier to creativity and connection.

Sliding scale options are available—please choose the code that works best for you.

Use the following codes when you check out for the sliding scales.

  • SLIDE50 = I can pay a reduced amount that works for my current budget (50% below full price).

  • SLIDE25 = I can contribute to most of the full cost (25% below full price).

TIME: 6:00–8:00 PM
DATES: Tuesdays (June 2, 9, 16; July 7, 14; August 11)
LOCATION:
Studio Barn at The Orchard (250 Waters Rd, Patten, ME 04765)
COST: $50 (use codes noted above for sliding scale)

Come slow down, get your hands in the clay, and experience the joy of creating in community. We look forward to welcoming you into the studio.
